Lizzie has been a mediator since 2007. She is an accredited Civil & Commercial Mediator, accredited Civil Mediation Council member, an accredited Family mediator through the Family Mediation Council’s (FMCA) accreditation scheme and The Law Society, a member of The Family Mediators Association and Resolution and an accredited Workplace/Employment mediator, a Professional Practice Consultant (PPC) and Barrister of the Middle Temple. She is also part of the faculty of the London School of Mediation (LSM), as a tutor and assessor.

Having practised for 21 years as a Dental Hygienist, Lizzie then trained as Barrister (non-practising) giving her a broad and varied experience of using interpersonal skills, negotiation and mediation skills for dealing with complex and sensitive situations.
As a family mediator, Lizzie is skilled in all issues – finances, property and child arrangements – that create family conflict. Lizzie has a long track record of enabling families to find solutions to financial and parenting plans through mediation. Mediation often removes the need for emotionally disturbing and lengthy court proceedings and enables families to create constructive new beginnings. She is accredited by the Family Mediation Council (FMCA) to undertake Mediation Information and Assessment Meetings (MIAMs) under the new Family Court regime. She is also qualified to conduct Direct Child Consultations. Lizzie is passionate about her work and the benefit it brings for children and families.
As a civil and commercial mediator, Lizzie is skilled in navigating complicated factual and legal situations and is innovative in helping those involved to find creative solutions to difficult situations. She is adept at employing her communication skills to get to the heart of the matter in a calm and professional manner keeping conversations constructive.
As a workplace and employment mediator, Lizzie has experience mediating complex personalities and in situations over a wide range of cultures and organisations.
She has also mediated in disputes involving; building issues such as party walls, probate, neighbours and land boundaries, partnerships, business disputes and dental.
She regularly undertakes pro bono work as an accredited Family mediator at Wandsworth Mediation Service.
